Shailene Woodley Isn't in Favor of The Fault in Our Stars' Movie Tagline
In case you missed it, the first official poster and tagline of The Fault in Our Stars movie has already been released. You can see the poster at http://faultinourstarsmovie.blogspot.com/2013/12/official-poster-of-fault-in-our-stars.html. The official tagline is "one sick love story," which for me is not that catchy and I was kind of sick upon knowing it. It's so lame and I'm not alone because Shailene Woodley didn't like it either. Here's her statement via EW/US Magazine:
On the other hand, her co-star Ansel Elgort has tweeted:
"I had a really strong response to it," Woodley, 22, tells Entertainment Weekly in a new interview. "It's definitely — it's not a tagline that I probably would have chosen by any means."
"But I think that there's so many people who are so passionate about this book that there's nothing that will ever satisfy everyone," she continued. "So I think it was just up to the discretion of the marketing mavens. For me, it was — yeah, not something I would have chosen. But it seems like half the people love it and half the people don't like it."
On the other hand, her co-star Ansel Elgort has tweeted:
"I have no problem with the tagline. It's cheeky"
